THE CLASSROOM
SOLE V
Reinforcing What We Teach | Step By Step
Overview
The slowest of the sole moves can be one of the trickiest. This moves name was created because of the shape it makes when done correctly.
Setting It Up
- -
Technique
When the ball is on one side of your body, reach across with the opposite foot and pull away from your plant leg. Once the ball is all the way across your body, use the inside of your foot to prep it diagonally to the outside of your body and around the defender.
Notes
Be sure to keep your toes pointed down when you are pulling the ball, then change your foot position keeping your toes up when you prep the ball diagonally.
