About Jayden Barrett
Jayden Barrett has received the SCT Player of the Year honors from So Cal Training for the commitment she has made to herself and her training in 2008. This senior at Mater Dei high school has accepted a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee for soccer and because of her work ethic has decided to devote her entire off season to the preparation of her freshman year at her new school. From the time Jayden began working with So Cal Training at age 11 she wanted to be pushed mentally as well as physically. She expected to be a hard working attacker that would threaten any defense she faced by using dynamic skills to beat her opponents. Today Jayden has these same ideals and an even higher work rate in training as well as on the game field. This is the reason Jayden decided this year was the year to devote even more time to her training regiment. She was able to set aside ego and worries of peer pressure to play for her high school team and instead she is now working on her diet, building necessary muscle definition, gaining fitness, and most of all polishing her skills. She is an example of what players should strive to be when attempting to become a scholarship athlete. The So Cal Training staff commends Jayden for the loyalty she has shown to herself with a revived attitude and new goals. Congratulations and good luck J
